How we met

Russell interviewed me for my first job at KSO...I had been for so many interviews, that by this stage I was not paying too much attention to the interviewer’s name or any of the details of the position. I paid attention in this interview though!!! Russell seemed so confident and at ease that I thought he must have a special lady in his life. Well, I got the job! As the weeks went by, Russell spent more and more time around my desk and I would always find an excuse to take him a document personally that I could’ve just put in his pigeon hole! We started spending time together over the week-ends shopping mostly… (A guy who loves window shopping as much as I do, who would’ve thought?) I also did many Saturday morning gym classes still half asleep from playing Mastermind until 2am (Don’t laugh Aunty Enid!!!). On Valentines day, Russell gave all the ladies in the office a chocolate, only I also got one in my dustbin (silly Russell) and another one under my desk and I’m still convinced there were more that I never found. The next day, on my birthday, he gave me a “Clueless” pen that I’d pointed out one day when we’d been shopping - then I kinda knew…My Birthday bash was on the Friday and he offered to be my chauffer for the evening so I could relax and enjoy myself. We flirted all night and stayed up until 4am chatting about who knows what! The next day he joined me and my family for the traditional birthday tea, brought me flowers, spoke to my loopy gramps the whole afternoon and gained the approval of the peanut gallery. Daniel even said he was cool - hehe…
